I can see why you would think that because you fall under one of these options: 1. You don't know who Stephen Colbert is. 2. You have never watched any of his other things so you don't know how to take this. 3. You do know who is and don't like him. 4. You are the very person he is making fun of.
I like the Colbert Report because the sarcasm and satire he has in his show pokes fun at the extreme stereotypes that exist in the media and nation; i.e. President Monson wanting to control Mitt Romney.
I may be ignorant or appear crass because I think it is funny, but it's obvious this was just used to tease his writers, which was hilarious by the way. I will have to post another video of his where he "burns D.C."

Bryce, I always knew something wasn't right about Colbert... it turns out it was his writers!
I was going to start an email forward to have people start protesting him, but I think I'll just send Conan and Stewart to beat him up instead ;)
